Previously leaked information indicated that the next flagship smartphone model to be launched by Shenzhen-based consumer electronics company OnePlus would be called the OnePlus 11 Pro. However, according to a recent Twitter statement by prominent tech commentator Max Jambor, the new device will actually be called the OnePlus 11, although it will still be available in Pro versions. As for the specific OnePlus 11 Pro version, Jambor has predicted that it won’t launch until the first quarter of 2023 at the earliest.
Steve Hemmerstoffer, another well-known tech industry commentator with a Twitter handle @OnLeakshe claimed to have heard similar news from his sources, reinforcing the authenticity of these new details.
Previously, the OnePlus 10 series did not launch a regular device version, but directly launched the OnePlus 10 Pro. If the leaked information is true, the OnePlus 11 series will adopt a reverse naming strategy.
According to information disclosed by 91mobiles, the new OnePlus 11 model will adopt a 6.7-inch QHD+ resolution AMOLED notch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. In terms of performance, the OnePlus 11 will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, with a maximum of 16GB of RAM + 256GB of storage.
On the imaging front, the OnePlus 11 has a 16MP front-facing selfie camera and a triple-camera module on the back, which includes a 50MP primary camera, a 48MP super wide-angle camera, and a of 32 MP telephoto lens that supports two times optical zoom.
